Use agent-level settings as your defaults, then override behavior per project when a repository needs different automation rules.

Key settings

  • Default Review Channel — The channel (Slack, Discord, or Telegram) where review results are posted.
  • Connected Apps — Manage Slack, Discord, Telegram, GitHub, and Cygent Code integrations.

Auto-Review PRs

Set the global default in the Settings tab for your agent. Each project in the Projects tab can inherit that default or override it to With confirmation, Auto (no confirmation), or Disabled.

Auto-Create GitHub Issues

Configure severity defaults at the agent level, then adjust per repository from the project settings panel. Project overrides take precedence; when no override is set, Cygent inherits the global rule.

ℹ️

After changing settings, you may need to Rebuild the agent for changes to take effect. A yellow banner appears when a rebuild is required.
